A bit of 4th of July fun

I felt like making something go boom on the 4th. So, I broke out the soda bottle toppers and set em up.

I don't let my guests shoot my airguns, at least not when we have a family gathering. But I have signaled the beginning of our mild fireworks the past four years with a single shot on one of these hidden just into the weeds at about 120y. This years party is tomorrow night and have the bottle, cap, and pump sitting right here ready to go. I have my brother wrangle everybody to the firepit or deck with some lame excuse so I can be sure no one is around the 'range'. Then he texts me a 'go'. Kids are getting older so this might be the last time we can surprise them. 

It's fun stuff!
