Good vid like always. I appreciate your taking the time to do it right. It's also cool to see how simple and apparently inexpensive a feeding station can be.
Thanks, folks. @Dingfelder, yup, that one was basically made out of junk and scrap. Been going strong for over a year now. The next one will have a bigger can, though. Have to fill that one up again every couple days as it is.
You've got the perfect setup for pb smear on your bait station.
Smear a 2-3" long peanut butter smear in 3 places about 10" apart and 8" high on your wood backboard.
So the nutter(s) stands up with his whole back facing you making for the perfect back of head shot. Nutters will stay standing licking for quite awhile(sometimes minutes standing/licking not moving) giving plenty of time to get off the perfect humane shot. No timing needed. Seems the center lower back of head shot makes for almost no kicking DRT most times...
I've had 3 nutters at the same time feeding on each smear. I need a semi auto...lol
The smeared on wood smell of pb goes a long way, nutters will come in to the scent of pb...
Just to give you visual of my pesting pb bait station, where you see them is where they dropped and didn't move.
