Took these thirteen today, from 25 to 40 yards. Sending CPHPs. The festivities were interrupted by the farm ladies feeding the animals. Hopefully I can bag a few more after the ladies leave.

They did not return, ran out of daylight… Next time! Every single one was in the act of thieving feed from the livestock. The CPHPs simply devastate them at those yardages. The 25 yard birds, TP on mid, 40 yards, TP on high.Luis, excellent shooting on those starlings! Great pic! Hope they come back after said ladies leave the scene......
Awesome, they make a very satisfying thud when you hit them, pretty solid built little birds. I wish I had the in my area.Took these thirteen today, from 25 to 40 yards. Sending CPHPs. That spider is now black… So the black widow? No my pet name for it is ”lil wicked”You've got that gun dialed in for sure, looks like a fun time also. The background in the picture look's like western Ore. & Wash. Like the picture of the spider also on the cheek rest, you calling it the widow maker ?
Luis, you definitely have your Atomic dialed in for different distances, places (safe shooting) and accuracy! Luv your posts! They did not return, ran out of daylight… Next time! The blues are pretty birds and they do have that one call that's very soft and nice. But that ear piercing aaawk! noise they make drives my son nuts. Never noticed till he had an issue with it, now I can't unhear it and I just wanna blast them. I don't, but I wanna!@Boostcreep, thanks! They are nasty birds particularly in large groups. Starlings rarely come to my yard, so I get to enjoy the Cardinals, brown trashers, house wrens, etc. Don’t mind the Blue Jays, I lIke them.
Thank you, in the same circumstances you and many others here, would do as well. Thank you for the kind words.Great shooting sir!
From a pesting point of view? You are a lucky fellow…The starlings are insane at my place. I shoot as many as I want every morning and it still doesn’t put a dent in the population.
It’s fun stuff. When I shoot them I make sure one lands solo. The flocks don’t get educated that way. They are smart and tough birds really. That’s how it is out here anyways. From a pesting point of view? You are a lucky fellow…
