lol, 'who inhabits this world' .. im former military, done with the kids and now farm and garden around my rural home .. i spend about 2 minutes zero'ing in a new gun and never touch them generally to fart around, ive found them 'not' to be picky at all and are deadly effective in their realistic kill zone range which is between 10 and 50 or so yards depending on gun 
.. pcp's are a tool to remove pests, pedators after my chickens and garden etc and i shoot more than you might think keeping things under control around here .. difference between me and your average obssessed hobbyist is 9 out of 10 shots take out a critter and i dont have piles of lead and debri all over my property from endless hours trying to make a pcp do what a .223 does lol ... one shot one kill .. thats what its all about to me ..
