:)

Good info Chuck. I’m assuming though that the FX Hybrids are best short range up to 100 or so yards, maybe a little more? I say that because the BC is so low, it says 0.070 on the package. Even my .25 JSB Exact Heavy pellets are 0.060, so just a bit better than a high BC pellet. For reference, the .25 NSA 43.5 grain slugs I shoot have a BC of 0.110. .

Chuck, I just received my new .30 SSTX 1:22 barrel form UA on Friday for my MK3 and can't wait to sight it in @100 (next weekend!). Have you tuned down Helga under 900 (850-880) to see if the magic is still there shooting the 44.75 and FXĀ Hybrids @50? Centercut has an interesting point considering theĀ BC. Thank you so much for your fantastic posts.Ā

Because the hybrids are very hollow so it’s very long for how ā€œlightā€ they are but because OfĀ the length the superior liner need 1000 FPS to begin stabilizing the hybrids, superior heavy should be able to shoot them much slower. The other factor I’m theorizing is because the center of gravity isn’t the same as MoreĀ solid slugs it needs extra spin to stabilize.Ā
