95 yard off hand shot with my Evol HPS

First shot. Hit. 2 inch spinner. Kill shot.

All my powder burner people I know who don't shoot airguns, who don't even shoot their guns, like to rag on the fact I only shoot airguns (UNLESS at the range with a buddy whos got PB) and at home I only shoot rested or prone. So here's a first shot placement off hand at 95 yards on a 2 inch spinner with my "bench" length rifle lol.

You've all seen my range enough to know the lane.

Here's a beauty pic of the girls current and final state (aside from scope) I returned her to her very light, utilitarian, sleek, sexy self.

Very very light for a 43 inch long rifle that's full of air, that IS unscoped but still, very light by airgun standards.

Give my Instagram a follow too.

Impressive work! I love to shoot offhand, but thankfully have the excuse of a modest sized property to keep my shots under 40 yards. Much beyond that, and I am just embarrassing myself.
Thanks man, this has sparked an interest in wanting to practice more off hand shooting. The haters build the best competitors you kno?

Nice shooting! That is a really nice range you have setup. Maybe have a friendly competition, loser buys the beers?
I have called out most of them to shoot off a bench any rifle they choose, best 100 yard group out of 3 for 100 bucks a round and none came to the calling. Next I guess Ill dumb down the prize, dinner or beer sounds fair!

Really good shooting, I couldn’t hit the side of a barn off hand at that distance… Can’t believe that rig is close to ten pounds🙀
Thanks Luis!

The rifle itself is very well balanced and feels extremely light, once I put the obnoxiously beastly scope on it it becomes absurd. To put it in perspective, an FX impact m3 compact without air weighs almost 7.25 pounds, so this full size coming in at 7.4 full of air is pleasing :)

Kevin, what was your scope mag set at when you made that shot?

I had it at 21, I figured at 25 it would psych me out seeing the intense wobble of me holding the rifle haha. I tend to shoot on the bench at either 23 or 25

When I decide on a lighter, better scope for this rifle it will have a max power of 18 I think, this rifle doesn't need 20+

That is damn good steadiness!

I’ve made some good offhand shots @ 35 yards using 16X, cutting string… but I had to lean against the corner of my house. 85 yards and 21X and my crosshairs would be moving so much that I’d get dizzy, lol.

I still got a lot of practice to do! I wanna start printing off hand groups now ;)
