Amongst the fun yesterday; I was able to pit my Daisy 880 against my Winchester 1100SS.
Now I am not sure if it's because I've used an 880 for so long and I haven't gotten but maybe 8 years with springer action(Winchester being my 2nd break barrel rifle) but I was able to hit bottle caps at 50yards with dang near no problem using the 880. The winchester...i could get only to about a 4 inch grouping.
Both slinging the same Benjamin 10.5g HPs.
880 I was using the max 10 pumps.
Wondering if the powerplant has a major role?...
Or just my experience is better with the 880?...
The Winchester has a very long/stiff trigger as well as a major recoil
This test showed me that my $30 multipump .177 "regular" slinger CAN compete with a $100 break barrel .177 "magnum" slinger if they are put in my hands
