Anybody body experience barrel droop with the Ronin and 700mm Impact? I want to test this but both my Impacts are apart waiting on parts. Like can anyone shoot using stock fx/factory donnyfl vs Ronin and comfirm if its pulling the barrel down?

I had one for a long time and yes there is a little droop but not too much. I prefer the old style FX empty cans with 3d printed baffles since they're about half the sound as the ronin.

OK. I have a digital scope that ran out of adjustment and had to be shimmed in the rear in order to be zeroed is why I'm asking. Wasn't sure if it was because of the Impact's rail height or weight of the can. If I was using a regular scope I don't think it would be a issue at all. Thanks

Digital scopes very commonly run out of adjustment. I had a Photon XT that gave me fits. Do you have a spare regular scope to swap out and try?

Out of curiosity I conducted a barrel droop test this afternoon using a FX Impact MKII .25 and my spare RONIN. Using a Nightforce ATACR w/MIL-XT Reticle from my PRS rig, I zeroed the Impact at 50 yards without a moderator. After putting the RONIN on the elevation had to be adjusted by only +.3 MRAD's (.75 MOA) to re-zero the gun.

I have a good amount of barrel droop on my 700mm Impact as soon as I installed the barrel. But then again it was much the same with the stock 600mm barrel that originally came on the gun. I had to get a 20MOA scope rail or I ran out of elevation on my ATN scope when I bought the gun. Later revised that to FX No Limit mounts which werq great.

I used to print them myself and was selling some but it got to be too much like work so I stopped.

Yes but both Impacts are apart, waiting on parts. Over torqued the valvestop tube (broke in half) and marred my valverod using locking grip pliers without leather strip like I should have. I suspect this is why air is leaking from hammer adjustment wheel.
