I’m looking into buy a 700mm .30 Cal barrel kit for my Impact but would like to hear some feed back. My primary use for this kit will be hunting. If someone can share their experience on what I can expect with accuracy, shot count, velocity, and reg pressure setting.

I got mine a couple of weeks age. I’m shooting JSB 44gr at around 890fps. I did have speeds up to 920fps when I started tuning over the chronograph. Regulator is around 145bar. Set up this way the accuracy is very good at 100y and I’m shooting groups around an inch consistently. I haven’t done enough testing to confirm this is the best tune
I noticed Michael (AGN Michael) has his set up to shoot at around 860-865 reg at 140-145 power wheel at max with no play valve adjuster on 3.5. . I know he recently competed at the Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge so as there where so many there shooting the .30cal 700mm barrel is guess you could assume these settings where discussed with the brains trust there So that’s what I’ll be trying next time I shoot it.
I think the pellet stays stable over a fair range of speeds. I’ve seen posts by Ernest from fx USA shooting good groups of a whole magazine that looked to be not much more than an inch at speeds of 940fps!
I haven’t actually taken note of exactly how many shots I’m getting per fill. I would say around 40.
I have worked my way from .22 to .25 and now .30 with the Impact. I haven’t shot .30 before and I have to say I wasn’t expecting the huge jump in power. This thing really packs a punch. On medium size game say like a fox if I got a good head shot with .25 sure it would drop it. The .30 cal has a lot more penetration. The pellet actually has passed through ones scull. Big step up from .25 cal. Get for hunting!
I think you will be very happy with the .30 700mm barrel. I am looking forward to some time and better weather so I can shoot it more. It is what I was hoping it would be. I’ll look forward to your thoughts when you get yours.

I'm pushing the JSB 50.15 to 900fps somewhere between 155 to 160 bar. Power wheel at max and no play, the valve adjuster is almost on line 4. Most of my shots are at 10 to 35 yards and I have to put down a feral goat every now and then. The pellet passes through their head for an instant kill and exited the other side on the one lung shot I've taken. I don't have room to shoot long range but I get a ragged hole at 35 yards. I never checked my shot count. I added a Ronin from DonnyFl because the FX can wasn't as quiet as I like.

Wow, those are some good results from the 700mm .30 Cal barrel. I’m sure looking forward to ordering one for my Impact.
