700cc CF Bottles Now At U.S. Vendors

I assume (but only an assumption on my part) that the Alsafe 700cc bottles are now showing up at U.S. vendors for those who do not wish to buy directly from the Chinese manufacturer.

I found what I consider to be a reasonable 'special' price for them ($200 + shipping) at Ares Airguns Tactical. Maybe the least expensive way to buy these if you are only looking to get one or two. And they appear to currently be in stock.

Remember that for mounting to an FX gun you will also need a valve - either the one off your old bottle or a new one directly from FX USA ($55 + $9 shipping the last time I bought from them). You just need to call or email FX USA for them to provide you an on-line invoice to pay. These bottles have the 'standard' M18x1.5mm threading, so for other guns (Daystate, Brocock) they will mount right onto the gun's action without needing a valve or an adapter. For other guns, make sure to check what the correct OEM bottle thread is on your gun.

Ares also has 420cc and 360cc versions. The 300-bar rating is attractive. Questions:

1) Do these Alsafe cylinders fit FX Impact or Maverick? I understand a FX valve is required but is the neck small enough?

2) Is a 300-bar gage the only change needed for FX to be filled 300-bar?

Well I know personally that the 700cc will fit on a Maverick (at least one with a 700mm barrel, or no moderator)

Amazon no hassle return policy, big plus.

Yes, but you pay to play. I just ordered 2 each from Ares for a shipped total of $417. Even with free shipping, due to the higher price and sales tax I would have paid $470 if purchased through Amazon.

Are they blue as in the picture?

No - but they are a shade lighter in color ('dark gray') than the black CF bottle you would get from FX, Inocom or Omega.
