54 AirKing sled tension results

This post has to do with Steve Herr's (Nitrocrushr) opinion and test results of adjusting the sled tension on the RWS or Diana 54's/56's. In my situation its the 54 AirKing. Some background on my 54 can be seen here:

I have long been a fan, customer and friend (I feel that way, lol) of Steve Herr (Nitrocrushr). He is amazing to say the least when it comes to testing, documenting, posting and what have you when it comes to airgunning and the tuning of them. So I read and took into serious consideration his work, findings and results. Then I put that into consideration and actual working context. So below are the results of my workings and results. I hope that this will help you in your quests.

Ok, just to make sense of my writing and findings, i'll try to explain. The numbers before the letters "CCW" (which means counter clock wise from all the way in) are the amount of turns that I did. Then there are numbers 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 with the letter "F". That means fingers from trigger guard that I placed the stock onto my trigger sticks. The pic w/all the numbers has center to center measurements of length and width.

The targets was set at 35yds shooting JSB Hades at 785fps. The 54 is wearing a Sightron 4-12x MOA2 scope sitting in a HM accurized ZR Mount
