Results 50y March 14 Open Grove National 50 Benchrest League Results

We welcomed 14 shooters for a pleasant cool overcast Sunday. Mike Niksch showed up from Colorado along with Keith Longerot from OC and Dana Wyse from Bay Area.
This is our 1st official National 50 Benchrest League shoot. Attendance full and interest was high before and after the competitions. We also shot 2 unlimited rifles for a baseline comparison - the results were as expected. Some were USARB shooters.

Conditions were mild yet challenging and switchy as usual but not as dramatic .

We will also be hosting a Saturday morning Shoot starting next month April. Next match is April 10th and 11th.

Thank you all for all the support, Tim M for help scoring and all for the goodies.

Edit, I messed up Perry's gun. Lou

Good shooting guys.

Turbo 1- is that a Vudu, or just the name of the Action?
Myers - Anschutz? If so, what model?

I have a 64 MPR and a custom 1907 single load match, and I have not tried my new NAT 50 targets yet with a .22 LR. This inspired me.

Dennis - that RAW shot real well. MRDs ? I shot a 213 and 222 NAT 50 target yesterday with my HM1000x .22 but the wind got me a few times. You have that RAW shooting great. I need some of your RAW secret sauce! Great shooting.

The Turbo V1 is an action made by DiOrio Mfg. Custom gun.

The Meyers is also an action that was made in very limited supply before Myers passed away. It is also a custom gun.

Thanks Dana.

Next week hopefully, I will get the Anschutz 1907 out to the range and will give it a try. The 1907 can shoot, but my technique and wind reading need to be cooperative.

Best I have been able to do with that gun is a 240, and several 238's. I have a real respect/appreciation for anything 240 and above. Especially 245++. Great shooting to you, Mike, Lou and all the rest.
