Results 50y April 11 Open Grove National 50 Benchrest League Results

9 N50 shooters showed up today with some USARB mixed in as well. Lucky for us we can shoot 25m and 50y at the same time. We can a good time.

1st card conditions were mild but got more switchy as the morning went on affecting the 2nd card.

Hector graciously donated a new rear bag for todays combined high score winner - luckily I won it. Thank you!

Congrats to all shooters. Some pretty solid scores posted here.

Lou/Joe - I am noticing there seems to be disproportionately more air guns vs. RF’s in these NAT 50 matches. Q. Is it difficult getting the RF folks to participate?

I have seen a couple RF guys for sure in other matches, I was just curious as to why this is the case.

Hi Tommy, thanks for the comments. 

This week of the month is our traditional weekend we shoot air gun matches. As you can see we get a pretty good turnout. We also expect RF and Slug interest to grow. 

Also, monthly we shoot 22 rimfire over 3 days, Friday night - Sunday morning. A total of 15 cards - that's 375 shots, min. Lately we have been packed and had to turn away competitors. It could be we have overloaded our RF shooters.
