500mm Slug liner any good??

I recently had an acquainted of mine want me to put together a gun for him. Wanted compact, light, and could take out pigeons, woodchucks, crows and the like out to 150 yards.

Challenge Accepted!

Since I had an extra Impact around for another project, i knew that was the platform I was starting with. And to keep it compact as possible, I picked up a nice 500mm 22 cal barrel kit off the forum here. Thank you again Jayman07770. Well let's just get to the results, cuz this thing is awsome! Here is the results at 160 yards.

If you watch the video, make sure the resolution is on 720p, or it's grainy.

Stay tuned, hopefully I can test out to 200+ yards before I have to ship it off. (Hopefully he pays the bill!)

The 500mm liners are not so good. I hear they ruin your gun. So if you put one on your Impact it's probly pretty much toast by now. If you want you can send it to me I can dispose of it in a proper and ecological way so the Green Goblins for the Earth folks don't get upset. ;^)

Great job looks like you got a good tune on that one it's shooting really nice.

Could you tell me what slugs do you use? I bought a 500mm slug barrel for my crown and i'm getting really bad results. I bough a .217 HN slugs sampler pack and they are all over the place, i think the problem maybe is the size (.217) but i really apreciate your help.

and very good shots by the way

I shoot both 217 and 218 H&N slugs out of my 500 mm slug liner and both are fantastic even at 120 + yards
