OK, here's a close one. I scored it a 9 ring when I scored without using magnification. Just because I'd rather err on the fair side instead of giving myself a point undeserved.

But looking at it with 7 times magnification and through the camera lens????? Hmmmmmm????/ Could it be a 10????? Not that it's gonna make a whole lotta difference with my scores either? LOL

That's a 10! Touching the line.

Went to the range again today. Good news is that the Safari .22 shot very good 50 yard groups. Bad news is I still suck at scoring 50 Y BR targets.

50 yard groups with Safari. Had "5" groups that did not exceed .31" at a legitimate 50 yards, winds calm mostly.

Anschutz 1907 with R50 ammo, which is quickly running dry. I wish I could do this with an air gun!

Now the not so good. Safari with MRDs at 50 yards. Interesting how one can shoot pretty good groups but really suck at scoring. I did have flags out, but I obviously missed a bunch of calls. # 22 and # 23 bulls were at low pressure, as I found out. Pretty sure that's why they shot low, or maybe wind.

They look extremely small. On those the 10 should be 1/4”, 9...1/2”, 8...3/4”, etc.

OK, after rescoring all six targets with magnifier I get 711 with the Boss and 709 with the Cricket. Scores with the Cricket most consistent with 237,236,236

Scores with Boss a little different? Not sure if it was more wind or me not being as consistent? 236,244,231?

I haven't even bothered with x's yet. So, I have a question. Does the x dot have to be obliterated or can it touch like this to count?

I've scored thousands of bullseye targets over the years. That is definitely a 10, Fuss!

Thanks Paul, I went back and edited in my scores on the original post at the bottom of the page, but let the title stand. Cricket increased 3 points overall and Boss increased one point overall.
