50 yards with 2289

Just for curiosity I tried the 2289 at 50 yards since I tried the 2300S last time. I must say the 2289 was more on target, once I figured that 12 pumps and a 6" holdover is what it needed it was hitting pretty close to the . This little 2289 would be a real blast with a scope at I'm guessing 40 yards to keep it at the 10 pump max..

Yeah I was using the peep sights. I was just curious to see what a non modified 2289 could do and I would say 50 yards is all I would do .

No, its just as it came bone stock 2289. I'm thinking steel breech (scope) and maybe the stainless steel roll pin, but I have no intentions on doing anything internal, it has enough pop for what I'm using it for.
