$50 price increase across the board for FX guns

I have had sold units on order since oct-Nov time frame and the customer may not see product till end of march and some already paid in full . And am having to make calls as prices increase letting them know they need to bring more money when they come to pick up product . Rough time to be in sales !

Oh the horror to be sold out of inventory and future inventory. Or to have to tell a customer who has more money than brains to bring more money. Make hay while the sun is shining trlrman.

Wonder if they will include $50 extra in quality?

We all want to make more money as time goes on thanks to price of everything else going up. After trying many sub/near 1000 dollar guns the 1000 dollar FX is more than twice the gun to ME in both quality and features. Good thing I placed the order the day before the price increase, Utah airgun will not charge the additional 50 dollars after the sale. Kudos to Utah Airguns!

only way to lower or even maintain the price is to lower the quality and sub it out to cheaper labor. Crosman is doing that right now with Turkey guns, tried one and will never buy a Turkey gun ever.

Hope the price increase will deter some people from buying up their guns because even with the price increase I’ll be waiting for over 2 months and this is just for a simple dreamline.

$50 they want & $50 I’m not gonna give them is $100 they ain’t gonna get (old Cuban proverb)

I think they are dramatically overpriced, but the market demand for them will both force and require them to raise the price of the guns independent of quality, to keep up with the dramatic amount of orders and long wait times people are experiences with pre-orders and backorders and the like. If anything I would expect the quality to go down given that they are producing a larger net amount to keep up with the demand. However, companies often enter into better and worse QC phases. The early models of the Ford ranger were not very dependable, but after a decade of issues they became very dependable (I have two). One of my friends has an earlier 1st gen wildcat and it is much more dependable, seemingly, than their current line up. $50 extra on a mid level quality gun is a big increase, sure, but as long as people are buying it I would be raising the price if I were them as well! They will need to ramp up production faster which means more people more new hire trainings and space and etc. Costs a lot to produce a rifle especially to try and meet the market demand for their products.
