$50 price increase across the board for FX guns

The same laws of supply and demand apply to employers. Most of them will avoid increases if they can get away with it. That may not be a morally correct approach, but sadly, that is what usually happens. WalMart and McDonalds a few years ago were fighting any attempt to force them to increase their wages, which were, for most people, not something one could live on. Then the labor markets got tighter and they couldn’t get people to work in their stores (at least here in CT). Guess what happened. Suddenly their wages rose, and they started offering benefits in many cases!

The great thing is that you can look for another job. I hate that I haven’t been given cost of living increases, but I did agree to go to work at the wage they offered. My offer letter didn’t guarantee me more money if prices went up. Heck, I’m doing the job of 2.5 people this year, and didn’t get anything extra (actually got cut), and I’m pretty angry about it. If they don’t reward me for my excellent work, I have the right to find someone who will. Supply and demand works for us too!

This is by far the most ignorant statement I’ve read on this forum. Taxes exist as a function of big government not because of capitalism. Capitalism = private entities making profit. Taxes = revenue generated for public services allocated by the government. The bigger the government, the bigger the taxes.
Leave the bashing of capitalism for some skewed political forum, especially when you don’t understand it

Now, to my eyes this hardly seems like I am bashing it, since I say that its the best system. Kind of like Churchill’s statement that “it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.…”
So, maybe you didn’t see it, or can’t see it. I don’t know which.
As a pretty successful capitalist all of my adult life I am hardly likely to bash the system that I think is better than all others. Step back, read the whole thing, see the earlier comments. Get off your high horse. If you still take offense and think that I am bashing capitalism then I guess my writing skills are deficient, or maybe it’s not me....

I would suggest that it was irony, rather than a passive aggressive bashing. However I understand that not everyone gets irony.....
So, to be clear, just as Churchill wasn’t “bashing” democracy, I was not “bashing” capitalism. Not blatantly, not passive aggressively, not at all.
Since the ironical/humorous nature of my statement escaped you (and possibly others) try to read what I said as “sure, capitalism has its flaws, and some are significant, but it’s still the best system ever tried by man”.

Since it is in the PCP section not off topic section we should keep it PCP/technical related. Guess it should of been in the general discussion. Regardless, not sure why people get their sand and corse salt impregnated panties all up in their private parts real good but please take that to the off topic area.
I for one still waiting for the next impact even with the 50 dollar increase because my employer is nice enough to offset the price increase with COLA. If you don’t like FX and don’t think FX isnt even worth the trash you will be throwing out then great! I really wish there are more of you because waiting 2-3 months for a Dreamline is simply ridiculous!!!

Fortunately to me it’s not a big deal but I didn’t post it to tell everyone I have a problem with it or not, I posted it for informational purpose. I for one will not judge whether 50 dollar is a big deal or not for someone because once up on a time 50 bucks was a big deal to me when I was a poor student.
nor do I care to get into pissing match with some person on the Internet about who’s gun is better. I’m happy with my FX guns and other people’s opinions won’t change that. Another way to put it is I’m 100% confident in my airgunlinidy!
