5.7x 1.9 O ring for fx .22 breach seal

I am going to try the titled size O ring for breach seal. It sits tighter than the standard size which is 5.28x1.78.

After installation the O ring internal dia becomes even less than the internal dia of standard O ring.

I hope it will not come out again.

I also wish for same accuracy.

Doubt a 5.7mm would work with 5.42mm pellet probe. It will most likely leak.

If you wanted a different o-ring, you should've kept inner diameter same at 5.28mm (or below 5.4mm at the very least)) and increased the ring diameter to above 1.78mm.

When I install 5.7x1.9 O ring in the groove the internal dia of the O ring becomes 5.02 mm

It should work

Fitting a bigger o-ring in the same size seat will not result in an EVEN 5.02mm all around. This is hard rubber compound or polyurethane that can flex to an extent but contracting 0.7mm while retaining an even 5.02mm diameter is just not possible.
