Great info. My Wildcat .30 has not had this problem so perhaps there is some variability in their cheek rest production. Good info to have.

Maybe this is the same root problem causing my .25 mag to pop out of the gun when I cock it... Good find.

This makes me wonder why FX doesn't just use injection molding and a much lighter plastic material instead of machining this heavy Delrin.

I wonder if the answer will be as simple as to avoid production bottle necks. Imagine having so many CNCs around with idle time and few/none induction molding machines (read somewhere they are expensive to set up for new parts). Though I am no engineer or a technical expert. I just like watching factory production videos.
