while doing some work on my farm equipment i see this critter come out from under our forklift under the lean-to,
so the 48/52 was on the bench inside the barn office because i was sighting in the athlon scope i have advertised in the classifieds here.
so much for that...right
this springer is special to us and very accurate with its dedicated red rest you see.
the athlon did the job with the Diana springer from 35yrds right behind the ear.
shooting the benjamin 8gr hollowpoints very respectively as always.
i had both calibers in the 48/52 and sold the .22 last year to a local friend of mine
which is using it at his farm.
this critter never made a flip-flop, just a death shake and it was over.........
i skinned & quartered it up to feed the barn kitty's this evening
