back when i was doing the .457 texan thing deer hunting 4 or 5 years ago, i sent the gun to Doug N. for his performance build/tune
this tune was much less than todays Tex-Rex gun, i changed the bottle out to CF- 4500psi rating so i could safely fill to 3650psi
per his instructions because he changed the valve and other things to accept the pressure safely.
this gun was very powerful back in the day and Doug told me to never get the pressure below 2500psi or it could valve dump the whole bottle
at once !!
i experienced that one time and i had to go change my drawers
