So I have an S45 and it takes a fill to 300 bar. When I connect my air tank it will only fill it to a tad over 200 and stops. Anyone else have this issue? SCBA tank is full.

Perhaps the gauge on the tank is not reading properly
When you fill the tank do the gauge on the tank and the gauge on the compressor read relatively closely?

i find most stock scba gauges read much higher than actual pressure in the tank.
have you verified by using a deadhead?
or by filling another gun with the same tank

As said, the 1st step should be to verify gauges are reading correctly. TANK gauges are usually within 100‐200lbs correct. The rifle's air gauge could be off too. My "dead head" tester ends in a small rifle gauge so I get 3 readings (compressor, tank, dead head). SHOULD be easy to diagnose.

I received this tank full so I never compared it to the compressor gauge on a fill. I don
't have a dead head. I may just bleed it out a tad and then use my new compressor to top it back off and then I can compare the gauges.

I fill my 45 minute Scott tank with my YH. I do not trust the gauge of the YH at all. Bounces all over. But I trust the gauge on my fill set. I trust it over the gauges in my guns. Does your fill set lack a gauge or do you not trust it?
You won't get more than one or two 300 bar fillups from a tank at 300 bar, of course. But you should get at least one. Probably won't really be exactly 300 but close enough.

These are what it takes for a gauged dead head. Worth the cost to have available. EVERY compressor owner will need one sooner or later! (Manometer should be a 4500psi-5000psi, not the 3K shown)

Does your fill hose have a gauge on it ? One of the gauges is quite a bit off as the pressure definitely equalizes. Interested to here what you find when you hook the compressor up.

On the road for work for the next week or so but I will report back when I top the tank. As for not having a dead head I guess I could have looked at my filler setup gauge duhhhhhh not sure why I didn't. New to this air stuff for sure.
