$445 bipod for $65!!!

I just ranted about this in General Discussion. Hope this helps someone. This bipod is virtually identical to the premier Atlas bipod. Here's a pic of mine & the link.

How's the leg position fit on the cheapie Gerry? That's where I find the most difference--the legs on the generics don't have the tight tolerances like the name brand bipods.

I swore I would never buy a real accutac or atlas...3 or 4 later, I won't look back. But trust me, I get it, it's hurts spending that much on a bipod.

I will say if you're looking for a very tight tolerances "knock-off" check out the uuq bipods on Amazon. They're LRA knock offs but the leg position lock tolerances are crazy good for a cheaper bipod.

IMHO Inferior quality of materials and very poor quality of labor, with next to no QC, usually means they are barely worth the money you pay for them but usually not.

I tried a couple, after I made mods to them, they kinda werqed but that was as good as they got so I tossed them.

Then I bought a couple of used American made UTG TBNR units off of the classifieds. They are so much better that there is no comparison possible.

I bought one of these a while ago and everyone was telling me what a horrible piece of junk it is but it seems to work just fine for how I use it to shoot occasionally. No, I don't run through courses throwing my gun on the ground, or put all my weight on it or use it as a wheel chock for my truck, but to just shoot a non-recoiling pcp airgun off of a bench, it works just fine. It's wide deep stance keeps my top heavy bullpup from falling over quite nicely too. To each their own.

Got to agree with qball and MOistOne, that Ajoite UUQ is the "Deal of the Century," wish I could find the member who first brought it to the forum, they deserve points for Accuracy. WM

Not looking for points, only to help others, but in the rare event it was me this is the thread: https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/seeking-experienced-input-on-atlas-bipod-clones-vs-actual-atlas-and-or-accu-tac/?referrer=1

I will say the bipods are both going quite strong on my Renegade and Pulsar even still, some months later from Dec 2021 when I first posted. I would order the bipods again in a heartbeat.

I recommend this one (only 6 left, see page #2 of my post I referenced above for the reasons why)

Sorry LMNOP, imzratt321 posted on Dec 22 2019, and asked about it. I had already bought mine (and the other carbon fiber one) at that time too and posted on the thread my thoughts on it. I must have read about it either here or GTA before that, so the first poster mystery continues. Somebody will pop up, everything is on the internet forever.
