It was just a chippy, but that makes it even harder. He was across the creek, sitting on a stump. He fell right over on the stump and didn’t move.

A 20 caliber Bowkett . With a little 4X Beeman on it. Which works great.

44 yards offhand on a chipper is pretty darn amazing. Great shooting on a small critter.

@Flintsack It seems that you have a proven gift for shooting. Nice shot. I’m curious about that little scope. May have to look that one up. It looks very light and compact.

Thanks guys. I love you shooting off hand I do it every day. As far as the scope goes, the optical quality is just OK. Because it’s four X it’s very bright. They were manufactured back in the 70s by Hakko for Beeman. Japanese.
