Last week I was hunting on my friends property and took around a 400 lb hog with my bulldog tuned by Brian at Veradium Air with a 220 hp slug at over 300 fpe

Mod3 Edit: Moved to Hunting forum.

I shot a 192 grain Mr hp , I made a mistake on the weight of the slug and I’m not sure of the speed on it because I only had a few test slugs at the time . I want to say around 885 or 895 fps but it’s been too long ago to remember exactly . I hit him in the ear and dropped where he was standing. Fortunately the meat didn’t stink like most bore hogs but everything but the ground was tough as leather. I’ve since had veradium air upgrade to his Taurus version which is putting out much more energy. I also started shooting lighter slugs , I ve taken trophy axis and whitetail with the new tune 165 mr hp , 160 pro slugs venoms and the most recent was a Neil tressler 142 grain which is the only slug that’s ever passed through an animal that I’ve shot . Almost all the other slugs was stuck in the meat or hide on the opposite side of the animal. I do remember the 142 was shooting over 1050 fps . Hope this helps if I can figure out how to send pictures on here I’ll show you some of the animals we’ve taken with our Airguns
