3D Printing gurus?

Do we have any 3D printing gurus around here? I have Tinkered up a design for a moderator that I really want to print. I usually solicit an online printing service, but the company I usually use is asking over $300 for this job and I'm not ready to drop that kind of coin on an experiment.

Like I said, this is just an experiment. I currently have a DonnyFL moderator and I have my eye on another DonnyFL moderator. But I really wanted to try this design before spending $185.

If someone is interested in printing this, I'd pay for materials and shipping.

It being what it is (a moderator), tolerances are going to be pretty critical, so would need to be a relatively good quality print.

I've attached a screenshot of basically what it looks like from the outside. The longer part is 13" long, so printer would have to be able to accommodate a part that large. (I was going for max volume)

Just thought I'd ask. You guys never disappoint.

13 inches is a, ahem, tall order... (sorry couldnt resisit)

one peice thatll be tough....

can you make it a bit shorter and bigger diameter?

whats the shorter bit?

It is large. Lol, I know, that's what she said, never.

I could probably segment the larger piece into 2 halves that sleeve into each other. OD is already at 2.1" so I don't think I want to go larger than that.

The shorter part is essentially a "blast chamber". It would sleeve over barrel shroud back to the air tank. The bottom of the short part sleeves into the bottom of the taller part to add volume.

I have a Raise3D N2 Pro that can handle the size.
Problem is, i´m located in Austria and i have no idea how much shipping would cost?

I appreciate your response. I don't know either. I recently had a kukri shipped from Nepal and it was about $50USD via DHL. Austria is a little closer, so maybe a little cheaper. I'm going to explore a few more local options before going international at this point.

Update: I ended up making some adjustments to my design.

I broke the long part in half and made it sleeve together. This reduced the print cost. I went to Treatstock as recommended above, and found somebody to print it out of ABS, 100% fill for less than $100.

So I guess we'll see how this thing works out. I think there is about a 13 day turnaround time on the print job, so might take a little bit before I have anything to show.

I still have to do some fabrication on the part that threads to the barrel itself. I bought a DonnyFL end cap that will go in between the front part (moderator) and the rear part (blast chamber). This part will have to undergo some machine work so that air can flow from the moderator to the blast chamber.

I will certainly will keep you all posted. I greatly appreciate the responses and interest in this experiment.

Here is the "final" design:

Just got my 3D print in. Going to take a lot of work to make it look nice, but overall I'm pretty pleased with it. I still have a bit of work to do on the end cap part that threads onto the barrel. But the plan right now is to get that part finished, get the whole thing permanently assembled, then test fire it for loudness. If I'm satisfied with the loudness, I will invest the time in cleaning it up and painting it to make it look nice.
