Wonder how lefty friendly the Wildcat is. Any lefties shooting the WC? I really like this .30 and there is no doubt that FX knows what’s needed to propel the .30 JSBs with precision.
The lack of air capacity is my only issue I have with the WC. I love my Compact but when engaged in a sustained fire fight with a flock of sparrows in the brush it's a pain in arse to have to stop blowing them up to refill after 4 mags. I would suspect the .30 cal to give about the same shot count per fill? I have only one bottle gun and that fugly bottle as you call it chuck is an all day lollypop when it comes to putting lead downrange. But most people probably don't get into gun fights with their PCPs so I will deal with it.
The only thing I like about the large bottle on my Crown is the high shot count. I can take the gun to the farms now and leave the tank at home.
Though I do prefer an air cylinder for looks alone. The Crown would be that much better if it had say an air cylinder that was twice as long as the bottle but half the diameter.....then lengthen the forestock of course......that would be wicked!!
It definitely would look nice along side my .25 Wildcat Patriot but it will have to wait awhile, need to take a break from the last 2 airguns that I’ve just purchased. Maybe this spring.
Love the innovations from the manufacturers, awesome time to be an airgunner. Only thing I don't care for on the Wildcat .30 is 40" long !!! Now were referring to a 40" as a bullpup? Hhhmmm...lol
For current owners of .25 and lower caliber wildcats, I would guess it would be possible to add the regulator on current models, as long as the tubes are almost the same? Might have to drill a new hole in the tube, and block the current went hole? Would probably be nice for those who like to thinker and adjust allot.
Regarding the bottle on the crown: As far as I know the threads are the same as the tubes fitted on royal 300, and bobcat guns. The later model royal also used the carbonfiber bottle. So a bobcat tube can probably be screwed on the crown, but I guess it would look ugly with the standard stock.
Edit: The bobcat tube will actually not fit on a crown, with original stock (no one would probably consider it anyway). The tube is thinner than the bottle, but the neck on the bottle is thinner than the tube. There is not enough room on the stock to fit the wider diameter tube.

Listened to this debate before, but never could decide why the picatinney rail was better then the 11mm. There are probably more choices of mounts in picatinney but other then that is there a structural advantage? Enlighten me. sylvan
