350 Magnum

Never had any cocking or other mechanical problems - just scope problems. I don't shoot much anymore as I have PCPs and a TX200. But if I was to continue to use it I would and probably will in the future put a 12lb vortex kit in it to tame it down
I'm going to research the vortex
kit , and see what they have to offer in that gas piston. I was told if I change my RSW Diana to a gas piston that you have to change the whole trigger ect , I would like a GP but was thinking it might be best to buy one already set up like the Diana Mauser AM03 N Tec. And I just learned about the PCP K98 Wow it's cool. Thanks very much for the reply. OldVet.

No its not a gas piston just a lighter spring and different seals - the problem with the 350 mag is it shoots too hard - difficult to shoot accurately and tough on scopes.
Just buy a TX200 if you want a good Springer - if you go to PCPs you'll never want to shoot a springer again. Buy a FX Crown or a RAW HMX or you want to really get deep get a Daystate Redwolf.

I have a Zelos it's very accurate , and a Tactical Guantlet I built. I also own a 1100Z , and a Tuxing twin cyl compressor. At Pyramid Air it shows the Mauser AM03 as a gas piston. N-Tec.

460 is discontinued. Really wanted one. Looking at the 350 and they are out of stock on pyramyd. Are these discontinued too? Really want a magnum under lever with iron sights. Any option? Hw77 isn't a magnum so its out.
Just want to know why the word magnum is a must have. Are you hunting.? I find the less powerful springers are more accurate because less recoil. I have a 350 magnum , but the 19 yo spring broke , so I put a 12 fpe spring in it. Now it's easy to cock much more accurate less recoil , and still shoots the 7.33g at 882 fps.
Airgun Depot has the 460 magnum coming soon.

Because im shooting at short range and I want the biggest baddest heaviest hitting springer. Not hunting or really doing target. Im Swiss cheesing cans, ect. And also I like the kick/challenge. I want to tame the most unruly of springers. Thus my new love for the hatsan 95. I have hw30,hw95 when I need precision. The 460 seems like it would be a blast to shoot. As of now at a glance it looks like gamo is the strongest but its gas and I want a springer. Hw80 in .22 with its spring isn't really magnum and theres a bunch of reports that hw .22 barrels aren't the best. Disagree if you want but theres a ton of people out there saying so with enough experience I'll take their word for it. The hw .177 are great but even then bedrock Bob says the springs go bad way before hatsan do. Airgun depot may or may not have the 460 coming soon but since diana doesn't even list it on their site and its listed as discontinued elsewhere I kinda doubt it. Pyramyd air has it as pre-order but its also past the date they were supposed to have it in. I get this is a niche hobby. But it feels like everything is going pcp which im really not interested in.

Oh I was not disagreeing in any way in fact I was wanting to help you. The .30 cal Hatsan springer. I used to own a .25 cal Benjamin trail it's a truly powerful beast , but I believe it was a gasser , and took me both hands to cock it. Happy can killing. OV.

Thanks. I've looked at both. The Benji doesn't have iron sights though does it. Maybe a hatsan 125 or 135 springer.

Hatsan 135 QE spring version not vortec. Next in line is the Diana 350 Magnum for raw spring power. The 460 under lever uses the same powerplant as the 460. OV
Yeah I was seeing that the 135 spring got discontinued. Hatsanusa has it out of stock as refurbished. Isn't there a spring conversion for it? 350 is reported as discontinued also.

One will show up , and honestly it's a lot easier to start with a used springer of any kind a least for me because you don't have to go through a tin of pellets to get to settle in. OV.
