.35 impact FPS?

Hi everyone,

ive just bought a .35 sniper edition Impact and was wondering what FPS you are with 81 grain pellets? I have searched and found someone say 860 and another say 915.

this is my 3rd impact and I wanted to check what it’s doing and then tune it straight away. I am looking at buying the slug liner but I’ve not seen a power probe kit for the .35?
Thanks James

I got the 357 kit for my Impact. It comes with a power kit. The hole in the 357 probe is big enough so the stock one is just fine. I believe I am getting 880fps with the 81gr JSB pellets with the reg set at 150 bar. I could easily get upward of 915 if I turned the reg up but these pellets are best around 860-880. I tried some of the Nielson slugs but groups where pretty bad. Just waiting for FX to have a slug ljner.

Could you tell us exactly what comes with the 35 power kit please?

I’ve noticed though that every slug liner kit comes with other parts to give to more power when using slugs. You can buy a .35 slug liner now. They have them in stock here in the uk so I think I’ll order one.
I’ll try 880fps and see what it’s like for accuracy.
ive not fired the rifle yet so it will probably be pretty accurate as standard but I wanted to see what other people have theirs set up like. Thanks for the reply👍🏻

The .35 builds are not and will never be the same as a factory .35 the internals are different and the “kit” won’t make it the same

Please explain the difference in as much detail as you know.

My impact already makes 132 fpe at 150 bar in .30 cal. I have a large inline plenum and machined my rear block to M14. I've made several different size plenums for that so I believe my particular gun will outperform an original .35 from fx.

I get about 24 shots . I started tuning for some slugs so this pellet string is a little faster.

This was a full 250bar down to 125 bar 480cc bottle

To OP. Thought I'd clarify my screenshot, even though mine is tuned for 865 fps at MAX, the accuracy at that speed with the 81 gr pellet is abysmal, about 4-5" group at 80 Meters. However, when my wheel is at MIN it shoots 640 fps and the group looks great (1" at 80M) but it's also way too slow. Have not had time to try other speeds since my power wheel came broken and only works on MIN or MAX (FX is sending me a new screw for the power wheel)
