Theoben 34mm Theoben Rapid scope mounts

I'm building up a vintage Rapid and did not want a bulky or non factory look. So I picked up some CCOP 34mm rings and removed the picitinny portion of them and machined them for the Rapid style that is all its own. I've seen someone in the EU selling 30mm rings and gave me the idea to make these fit. They turned out pretty sweet. Maybe a little tall but if I build a shrouded barrel I needed a little more clearance.

Owning a machine shop just keeps getting in the way of hobbies. But I'm getting an itching for a new air gun project. Probably along the lines of a 22 cal slug gun, single shot that is a tether only rig. I've got a 26" barrel with 14 twist that I am wanting to try. The trigger is designed, got the valve sorted out and just needed to finish up this Rapid first.
