.315 roundball in my 8mm Hatsan 130QE

Purchased some .315 lead roundballs for my Hatsan 130QE shotgun. They work great and boy they hit with authority. I was hitting a coffee can filled with dirt at 30yards and knocking it over with basically no sights. As the gun was made as a shotgun. This tells me I need to put some sights back on it, to test for better accuracy.

Just when I thought you'd taken that Hatsan 130QE shotgun project as far as possible! Inherited some 12 gauge "pumpkin ball" ammo with my grandfather's Western Field pump, they shot all over the place but, boy, did they pack a punch. Like to see a video of that shooting action, sounds fun. WM

That what I'm thinking. It would work both as a shotgun useing the sabots. Or with the roundballs.

I decided to throw this cheep scope on my 8mm smoothbore. I'm sure it will destroy it in short notice. Here are the initial results.

.315 = 47 grains lead roundballs at average 593fps for 36.71fpe.

At 30 yards with a smoothbore not to bad. I'm going to move the target to 20 yards and try it again.
