30cal RTI p3/slugs question

Does anybody with an
RTI P 3 IN 30 caliber? Have you tried shooting slugs out of it?
How did it perform shooting slugs?
I ordered one and it just came in and all of a sudden, I look at the website, and they're talking about the rpb barrel being good for slugs or pellets, but they don't make the rpb barrel for the thirty caliber. When I first ordered the gun 3 months ago, it said nothing about that. Now the website has changed and I think i'm regretting ordering the gun because I only ordered it to shoot slugs.

The .177 and .30 are NOT RPB barrels, only the .22 and .25 are. Don't be too upset yet. There is no reason the P3 with the non RPB barrel will not shoot slugs. I saw a number of videos where reviewers got good results out to 50 and 100 yards. One mentioned the 43 grain NSA slugs. How heavy of a slug do you want to shoot and how far? The RTI guns have the power to shoot slugs easily.

Watch at about the 8 minute mark:

The barrels are all the same in the RTI guns. The video shows a different gun, but the same barrel. Near the end he says 155 bar on the reg. Good luck.

My .30 RTI LW barrel has been in the unused barrel collection for quite a while. I was never impressed with anything it did. Pellets or slugs. The only reason I didn’t toss it is because some day I will remove the choke and try it again as a slug barrel. It shot one slug ok out to a certain distance but that doesn’t cut it in slug land. I needed it to be spot on out farther than a pellet gun.

No problem shooting FX hybrid slugs out of a P1 with the 24" LW .30 barrel. Reg is set at 147ish and they are scooting at 895fps. Easily capable of 150yd shots on CA ground squirrels..could probably reach a lot further if I had a spot with the distance. Never tried anything heavier..the 44gr hybrids work for everything I shoot.
This is where my best setting was. Except with a P2 I was 120b on the reg shooting 886fps with a hybrid. But its accuracy at 100 and beyond didn’t stack up to my other two .30’s. The hybrids got worse the faster I shot them. I will also add that I’ve never had a .30 slug gun shoot great fast. All 920fps down to 870 seems to be my particular zone with my guns. Had a 600mm FX barrel on my P2 for a while and my slug speed was 950 ish. It was great when it was great but it was too unpredictable because that barrel fouled at inconsistent intervals.

Question:
Does your .30cal barrel have the large double transfer ports that the newer RTI barrels have — or the single hole transfer port?

Thanks,
