300 bar bottle on a Maverick

I just bought a 300 bar 580cc bottle for my Maverick VP to replace the 400 cc bottle.
On the rifle itself it's labeled as 250 bar max. Is that because of the bottle I replaced was a 250 bar bottle or does it have to do with the regulator limitations?
I don't mind filling the bottle to only 250 if needed.

You can fill it to 300...just make sure you have the correct valve stem thing in the bottle...its right there in the opening...im pretty sure fx sells what you need.i cant remember what it's called but you need that new probe thing they sell.

Filled it to 290 last night, it's still at 290 this morning. Still shoots great. My other bottle took 50 shots to go from 250 down to 150. I'll take it out today later and see how many shots I get going from 300 to 150.

Going up 180 cc's and 50 bar effectively doubled my shot capacity. I got 100 shots out of the fill today. I'm more than happy with that.
