30 Year Life SCBA Cylinders ?

Maybe a dumb question, but wouldn't these cylinders be applicable to PCP usage?
The 30 year life sure is interesting.
Though for me, 15 year cylinders are probably the most I will need.

I would look into a company that services firefighter scba's. If you know any firefighters ask... They always have bottles that are taken out of service but can be used for pcp application. I'm a firefighter myself and asked our rep one day and he had a few lying around. That was the make or break for me getting into pcp.

Being that you work a the FD you can get an out of date cylinder filled. Others cannot get an old cylinder filled. The local FD fills my CF tank but every time I get a fill they check the certification date. Those 30 year cylinders are several hundred more than 15 year cylinders but maybe the price will come down with time.
