30 cal. slug spec.

I am a new to casting pellets/slugs and on my first try using an accurate 30-50 mold and my first casting my pellet/slug are measuring 7.53/7.58 mm. on the rear ring. Is this ok to shoot? Or are they to small to work right? Lead temp at 620/650 degrees. The mold never got over 175 degrees. My air rifle is a FX Dreamline Classic 30 cal. with factory settings. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

What size is that?

7.62= .30 cal

What size is your bore? Just because you have a .30cal doesn't mean it is 7.62...could be plus or minus .03...combine that with an oversized slug it could get stuck.

My problem is I am coming smaller than the caliber size. instead of 7.62 mm or .308" I am getting 7.56mm /.295". And what I was wondering was will they still shoot ok?
