30 cal slug shooters

I have a 30 cal Prophet 2, FX Impact Sniper in 30 and a Gauntlet 30 (Essentially a Gauntlet 2) in which I have only shot NOE "55" grain Hollow Points and FX pellets. I haven't had the chance to try them at 50 or 100 yards yet.
The Gauntlet shoots the slugs just as well as and some groups are better than the best I have gotten with the FX, but is more difficult to love than the FX. The Prophet does OK. All three do extremely well with the FX pellets.

i have had several .30 slug shooters and i have been happy with my Uragan-1
with DW power tune 100fpe with KO's

+1 to the U1, I had one , just traded it for some high end optics for my taipan, shot knock outs right out of the box with awesome accuracy.

I was just out shooting some Griffin 64 grains in my Guantlet 30. Very nice performance, all touching or same-hole at 75 yards. 903 fps for 116 fpe.
But I would probably give the edge to my AEA Challenger Pro 30. I've shot "perfect" groups out of that on many occasions with NSA .303 61.5 grain. It also accepts a pretty wide variety of ammo without throwing a lot of sliders.
I don't doubt an FX or something else very high end could possibly shoot better. But we would be talking some pretty small margins if it even did. If you don't want to break the bank IMO get a Gauntlet 30 ( I think they are coming out with a side-lever version soon ) and shoot the Griffin slugs.
Edit... Hajimoto is the one doing the side lever... I can tell you I will 100% be getting this when it comes available!

As most of you realize by now there’s been a delay to the Hajimoto Productions side lever for the Umarex Gauntlet series of PCP. The side lever is designed to work with the .177, .22, .25, and .30 …

For 22 or 25 cal the Huben k1 hands down. Only thing it lacks compared to the fx is shot count

I generally shoot slugs in the garden, with my Bug a Salt. It doesn't penetrate at all, but they still tend to curl up and die after a while.

I mean, all I shoot out of my FX Maverick VP .30cal is FX Hybrid Slugs and JSB Hades, with 98% of my shooting being Hybrid Slugs. If you are hunting, just a glace at my post history will give you video proof of what that combo has done for me.
