I had the opportunity to go out with a few friends on Sunday morning and reduce the California Ground Squirrel population

. I want to thank Rich Richey and Ron for the invitations. In the same day, I had my offer accepted for my new home that I am purchasing! What more could anyone ask for. A great day of shooting and the purchase of a new home!!!!! See video link below.

Hunter one as always great shooting. I would like to point out that the FPE on target is far from that of the FPE at the barrel, that plus the fact that the pellet will clearly always pass entirely thru all your prey, the amount of energy transfer from pellet to prey (although significantly more than a .22 and slightly more than a .25 due to surface area) is still even at 100 yards going to amount to less than half of the FPE the pellet can product at that same range calculated by chair gun pro if you are shooting dome pellets. But dead is dead, great shooting and looks like a great time.

"Bobbed06"Great video! Congrats on the new home ! I am having one heck of a time buying a new home. I have great credit, no debt, but a gap in employment from a recent move has me jammed up. That , and the fact that I am so undecided on where I want to call home. Being some what of a wanderer makes this decision harder than ever.
Hang in there man. You will eventually find the one that's right for you.

I do realize that there is a significant difference in FPE at the muzzle vs FPE on target as indicated by Chairgun vs real life. I do however think that Chairgun is definitely in the ballpark with their calculations. For my .30, I should be getting about 48 FPE at 100 yards and 85.2 FPE at the muzzle when using JSB 44.75gr pellets. Using 50gr pellets increases the muzzle FPE to 94. All plenty to take care of the game that I shoot. Thanks friend.
