Tuning 30 cal break barrel repair

That airgun actually has a gas piston inside and from what you're describing, I'd say that the seal on the piston has gone bad.

You can order a piston from Hatsan USA ( https://hatsanairgunsusa.com/ ) and make the repairs yourself.

Check out the guy below for lots of good Hatsan vids.

Hope this helps.

+1 to what Brian said. First, there are no springs on the cocking arm, so if your rifle suddenly got entirely too easy to cock, the gas ram is bad. Not too hard to repair yourself if you can get a new gas ram for it. Also a good idea, whether it's you or someone else doing it to replace the piston seal while you/they are in there.

If you're leery about it, there might be some fellow members near you that might be willing to help?? Airgun Depot is also in Utah, but not a clue if they do repair work or would even have the gas rams to even try.
