Took out 3 pies 1 shot from my bedroom window. They never seen it coming.

 I have a 30 cal Impact. From my window I have a straight view down that rail. I shot 1 the day before and about 6 came to the funeral the next day. They were making all kinds of noise trying to wake up there buddy. I shot right thru the two vertical posts it is about 23 yards. 3 dropped. Those pies are smart they haven't been back since. There are big gangs of them around this year.

Once you pop one they all start chattering and you are correct, they do not come around as before. I should take a couple of blue jays out as I counted 8 of them in a tray feeder today
