3-liter air cylinder from Best Fittings

Hello everyone,

I purchased a 3-liter air cylinder from Best Fittings over in England in a large part from all the help and information I received from this Forum. I really appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable help that I have received from the forum members with the questions that I have asked. The threads on the hose are BSP female so I had to order a Quick Connect fitting with the male BSP thread so I have not charged it up yet.

I noticed that a lot of you fellows use some sort of carrying device for your tanks so I decided to build one for this tank. As you can see I made some Holding Straps out of aluminum flat bar bent to shape and attached the straps to a piece of stained wood. I made the straps just 1/8" larger than the tank and then installed some 3/4" wide by 1/4" thick rubber door seal material on the inside of the straps. The thicker rubber needed to be compressed a bit to fit over the tank which really secures the tank. I believe this will make the tank easier and safer to handle.

Thank you and be sure and post a photo of your carrier. The wood is a scrap piece that I ran through my table saw to get the correct width and then put a coat of stain on it.
