29th tank top-off!

I have been keeping a log of how often I have topped off my Joe B Tigershark tank and today was the 29th time since getting my used Shoebox F10 in the fall of 2018. Each fill is about 80 minutes so that's roughly 2,320 minutes (39 hours) of run time. I have had to replace one o-ring so far.

Man, I pray that this little guy keeps on ticking!

Good timing on this post. I just topped off my tank this past Friday, also with Shoebox F10. I keep a little notebook with the compressor and happened to add up my total hours when it was done. I'm up to 59hrs and have only needed a fuse (self-induced problem as I tried to kick it back on under pressure one time).

Noticed in my log book that I typically run the F10 for about 2hrs per month. That keeps my 80 and 19cf SCUBAs full, as well as my 60 min SCBA. Make-shift sorta cascade system keeps me in business.

Also noticed that this past fill was the first time I've ran the compressor since December-made me realize just how much less I've been shooting with all the house remodel stuff going on.

Good little compressors. Wish there was still the support from the manufacturer that there used to be.

What happened to the shoebox as a company?

I think it is fair to say that compressors like Yong Yengs were eating up his customer base. Towards the end he had dropped the f10 price down to $500 or so. I wish that I had purchased a back up at that price...

@mcoulter - although I'm not using it now, my Shoebox has over 400 hours and although the auto off switch had gotten a little glitchy it was still filling up tanks.
