276 Yard Ground Squirrel Shot Video - first time using a Tactacam 5.0

Well I got a chance yesterday to try out my tactacam 5.0 at a few ground squirrels. Only took three shots.
Here's a short video of the third shot. At 276 yards I didn't think the clarity was too bad at all.
The video looks awfully close to what I remembered seeing through the scope itself.
I still need to make adjustments to get a little more picture in the screen and sharpen the image I think.
The audio isn't all that great. But that wasn't a big surprise. There's no external microphone.(Waterproof)
But for the first time using it, I don't have any complaints at this time. That's unusual for me.
I wanted this thing to record 175 – 300 yard shooting that I do the most of nowadays.
It looks like it will do the job nicely.

I would have missed that shot because I read the mirage telling me it needed at least three moa of wind plus spin! Is this in reverse like it is through a prism with the sideshot or is the left right correct?

Not sure about the sideshot but, my right left are correct.

I just read the grass, trees, and one flag at about 35 yards away and shoot.

I've confirmed at leased one kill of his at 276 yards. And many cans of water at 200 along with many other squirrels over 200 yards. His Cricket was very well thought out and he has it nearly perfected. As crazy as it sounds I think it will be even more accurate by mid winter when he can actually fine tune it. It also helps he's damn good shot.

We used to joke about shooting them from there and now he does it consistently. This is a view from Long_Shot's patio/shooting bench where he shot the squirrel.

wow great shot , is your scope FFP or SFP ????

It's a FFP. 5-30x56 with an Accuracy First level. Thanks for that one Lou.

Here's how the Tactacam fit my setup. I still need to adjust the camera so the retical will be plumb. This was a first test video.

An external microphone would be nice for these things. You don't get the sound of impact on the recording. Sure makes my gun sound loud though.

I' need to figure out the best camera settings and video editing software before I do any more videos.
