26.8 grain NSA slugs

Got the old Cricket carbine out to play yesterday in crazy 58° weather in late

December! 26.8 grain .25 cal at 950fps the black one was 54 yards just under the ear...lights out!!! The big Male in the pic with my shooting stick was 68 yards in the top of an old elm tree....all I could see was the top of his shoulder and pitched a strike dropping him like a stone. And third one at 92 yards on the ground...3 mil holdover on a 40 yard zero and drilled him right in the shoulder! He went about 20 feet and was done....pretty good day in the woods and this thing loves these slugs!!!!

Beautiful how accurate are they past 50 yards. Your results say they are but do you have maybe some groups to show?

i think you'll be pleasantly surprised with these slugs and they hit like brick...the pop was so loud on those squirrels even at 92 yards!

I didn't take any pics of the sight in but was half inch at my 40 yard zero...had it sighted for the 29 grainers that shot ok after I lubed them but not like these. Made a two click adjustment to the right and was spot on.

yes I did to that worthless piece of a saftey!!! Lol. I actually cut it flush in the firing position so it's now used only for a trigger stop. Because the trigger just travels to far without it installed. So I'm just extra careful if I'm hunting with anyone else!

Thanks Jimmy, I really like the feel of the carbine and really don't see them come up for sale very often...I know Charlie at Georgia airguns has a couple in stock but there pricey!

Thanks Art, there a great all around rifle except the crap saftey that was not very well thought out. But the rest of the gun is built like a tank.
