.25cal slugs for Impact

I shoot the NSA 29 grs at 950fps and exactly the gun you are asking about and they perform well. I also have a LCS SK 19 and it doesn’t like them nearly as much.

I'm experimenting with 33.5 and 38.5 NSA. The 33.5's are grouping quite good at 960 fps. I'm waiting for more 38.5 but before running out they looked promising at 980ish. More are on the way.

Set the gun up so I can shoot both without re-tuning. The 38.5's will shoot on MAX and the 33.5's on D on the power wheel.

Using 700 mm Superior Heavy liner.

I have that exact gun and liner and it's tuned up to shoot JSB 26.5 gr. Hades at 885 fps. I subsequently wanted to try slugs, and at the recommendation from Griffin, I ordered their .25 cal .249 Cavity Point Dish Base in 30 grain. The first time I shot them without changing anything they shot through the same hole at 50 yards. Extremely accurate. I was surprised to find that they were shooting at only 825 fps. I still haven't changed anything because they are perfect where they are. Just earlier today, I posted a picture of a water moccasin I shot in the head at 50 yards with those same slugs ("The Reason I bought my Impact- Moccasin"). They are amazing and obviously don't require super high speeds to maintain their accuracy. Highly recommended for this gun.
