257 Texan is a shooter

Tried the 70 grain slugs sized to .2570 today and wow. Shot this 5 shot group at 50 yards. Refilled to 2700 psi each shot so cheated a little. Lubed with 10 wt silicon oil. Velocities I am now getting at about 3/8 power level are as follows:

986 fps
1001 fps
1002 fps
994 fps
986 fps.

Beginning pressure was 3000 psi and ending at 2500 psi. Started raining so had to quit. Group is about 3/8".

Does it have 8 levels of power, and shooting on level 3 those are the speeds you got?

3/8 power level indicates to me that yours is a Condor conversion to .257. Is this correct?

Got mine from R&L. Great guys and great service. Matt has answered several questions. They are using this gun on prairie dogs out to 185 yards.

This is nothing to brag about but it is one of two groups I shot at 100 yards today. First time I stretched it out Beyond 50. Both groups measured 1 and 3/4 inches. This gives me a benchmark to work from. I wish Air Force guns had a bit better trigger
