25-yards, gun/ammo, all about the same?

Gamo Silent Cat, .177 break barrel rifle. 10 rounds.

That cheap little gun is more accurate that I am. #GOGAMO!

25-yards, benchrest.

But on a good day, they all do that. Regardless of ammo or gun. It's just not far enough to make a difference. I need a bigger lot. :)

Makes me feel as if I have too many .177 break-barrels. One good one is good enuff! (oh, and a backup of course. :) )
For just the 25-yards I typically shoot, really about any ammo/gun will work if it fits the shooter.

Don't wish to burst your bubble as that is good thing you got going on. That is very good shooting for that gun and many others in it's price range. But the more expensive springers will do that or better at 50 yards. Many PCPs pistols will do as well or better at 50 yards and some rifles will better that even at 100yards.

Diana 54 50 yards

2240 pistol at 50 yards

Impact .25 100 yards pellet target three shot one hole group on top five shots on the bottom

I'm in the pdx area as well. Looks like there are several more also.

No bubble to burst, but thanks for the info. :) Soon as I get more distance, I'll be starting over. Wish I had 200-meters. :)

Nice shooting sir!

I'm eye-ballin' an HW98 soon as I get a place to shoot it.

Here's the same 25-yards, no scope.

Everything I shoot here does about as well as the other. I gotta step up my game without having to sell the house! :)

I should probably knock out the "dimes challenge" I found here. That'll be a good step in the right direction methinks.

Well if you step up your game as much as the addiction desires you will need a bigger house to put all of those guns in. ;^) Yup this stuff can get expensive if one allows it.

Yes, to the 200 meters you and me both. I drive out to the DRRC range to get the 200 meters. Actually if I want more than the ten meters my basement allows I go to the range.

You might want to take a look at the Diana 54 if you want accuracy and no felt recoil. But it is a little heavy.

Quiet the radio you have there. I'm going to have to get one some day but likely not the top of the line as other addictions will not allow it. ;^)

Oh, it's not expensive to get started! The test is about $15 (study a day or two before, questions are public), takes about three hours, and you can work literally the world with that license and this $30 handheld.

To try to up your game, get up off the bench and try shooting off hand. I'm assuming you haven't already.

quite a bit for a couple years. 10M off-hand was my thing.

I have a couple challenges lined up now. I think I'll be fine. Even found the gun I prefer of what I have. So much fun to have, so little time! :)

But I'm older now, and not quite as steady on my feet. :/
