Extreme Field Target in Leesburg, Fl. Is end of this month and neither my .177’s nor my .22 platforms have the knock down power needed for EFT. I ordered this Wolverine in .25 Hp from Tenacious Airguns (Derrick Wall) and he’s tuned the beast for 33.95’s and sorted out the trigger.
I’ll most likely move my Nightforce NX8 and an 20 MOA monorail over to it when it arrives this week 11/12/2023.
I’ve been warned this pit bull has a substantial acoustic bark; so I’m hoping my high flow STO .30 Sarrisa moderator will change this authoritative bark into a tolerable woof.
If anyone has experience with this platform please share your experience.

Mine is a .22 Wolverine R HP Forrester…

…Shoots both MRDs and 18.13g lights out!

Swapped out a spring to make the trigger lighter, otherwise she is a stock rifle that insanely accurate.

Wish I had a matching .25 caliber… maybe you’ll sell me yours when you get tired of its “boring accuracy”, lol.

It was a 49 FP gun in factory form. It’s now a 58.5 FP Beautiful & Beastly Wolverine! 32 shots on fill.

That he could caress that thing to get that power and shot count is incredible... that's Tenacious for sure...

One of my favorite platforms and my wife's is a wonderful shooter. They are quite solid but really not meant for that much power. That he got that without wasting a ton of air is admirable.

Still kicking the tires on another .25 purchase eventually. Wolverine wasn't even on the radar (only interested in shooting the 34s), but now it is.

Im kinda the same way debating getting one in 25 vs 177 as a backup to my redwolf.

Little update. Removed the Nightforce NX8 from my Alphawolf and put it on the .25 Wolverine last night; noticed right away that you need to keep the scope as LOW as possible on a Wolverine because the lack of an adjustable cheek comb makes getting a proper eyebox behind the scope nearly impossible W/O keeping the scope slammed as low as possible nor having a head bobbing around. I used the most minimal dovetail to pic adapters <1/8" possible so i could use my Eagle vision 30 MM INF adjust side mount rings.

In comparison to my Wolverine Sapphire, which has the adjustable cheek comb, the Wolverine Sapphire wins the comfort badge.

Sighting in and Zero work for EFT will begin this weekend.

Even with several moderators tests, I def notice the CRACK a beasty .25 makes, at least in a dry fire mode, Huggett Austil with two extensions, seemed to work best.

Wowza - once scoped i zeroed it at 35 yards which prevented any hold unders and very mild holdovers out to 110 yards. At first I thought 50 yards was a good zero but 35 yards worked out better. Damn thing was punching through two bails of hay at 35 yards !
Here’s my shot verified dope chart - sorry about pic rotation. I haven’t shot the 9 yards to 24 yard distances yet.
