Here are my thoughts on my first PCP rifle ever... (.25 Marauder).
- The gun is way heavier than I thought. Doesn't mean much since I can only compare it to my GAMO Whisper Fusion Pro. But it feels heavy. Balance is ok though.
- Louder than I thought. Again, only comparison I have is the GAMO, and that's in .177. The Marauder is in .25.
- Cocking it is a pain. I am sure the "action" will get smoother with time, but for now, it sucks.
- Pumping is not as bad as I thought. Effort wise and time wise. I did not time myself yet, as I have only filed it up twice so far, but it can't be more than a couple of minutes.
- Speaking of pumping. The Benjamin pump is junk. The grips (on the handle) are way to close together, the material is uncomfortable and the stand is too small. I guess you get what you pay for...
I am pretty sure I will return it and get something else...
Thanks,
Kmd
