Guys I love to tinker with my impact , no matter how good I get it shooting within a couple wks I'm switching calibers , and barrels . it's like a bad habit but I really enjoy it and trying to make it shoot better and better. Any way I havnt really been overly excited about the x barrels , had a .30.xbarrel but my smooth twist shot way better and at higher fps.then I traded for a .25 x and wasn't really impressed with it either . it shot ok but again I got better results with the regular st barrel . so I thought why not try a slug liner . I got it yesterday but only slugs I had was hunter supply 48 s and some h&n grizzles... Both sucked at 35 yd. Then I tried some mk2 s WOW !!! Looked great at 35 yd . and it's shooting then with gun wide open right at 900fps.
Then I tried AA 25.4 s turned down to 910 fps on power wheel setting 2 . awesome also !!!. Then today I went to the river to try the mk2 at more distance . didn't shoot paper but at 119yds they was hitting same hole in the river bank . I'm real impressed with the liner as just a upgrade pellet barrel so far. Here's a pic of the 35 yd shots yesterday 5 shot groups , don't have a pic of the AAs but looked the same. : ) now I wonder why these didn't come with the impact to begin with ?
